Ziel dieses Arbeitskreises sind Darstellung und kritische Reflexion der gegenwärtigen Umweltdiskurse in der BRD sowie in ausgewählten internationalen Aspekten. Einen thematischen Schwerpunkt wird dabei der nach den jüngsten Ereignissen im japanischen Fukushima wieder aktuelle gesellschaftspolitische Konflikt um den Komplex der Kernenergie sein. Den Teilnehmern wird im Verlauf der Sitzungen nicht nur ein Überblick zu den am Diskurs beteiligten Interessengruppen und ihren Positionen gegeben, sondern auch ein Einblick in die grundsätzlich historische Genese von Umweltdiskursen gegeben.

Work group "Aspects of the ecology discourse and nuclear policy in Germany"
The work group takes place every Monday between 2.45 and 6pm at Göttinger Chaussee 115, 30459 Hanover.
The aim of the work group is to describe and critically reflect upon the current environmental discourse in Germany as well as in selected international aspects. A focal point is the current societal discussion on nuclear energy that came to the surface after the recent occurrences in Japan. In the process of the sessions, the participants will get an overview of the discourse as well as an insight into the historical emergence of the environmental discourse.
